html coding

I was very excited to learn about html coding. I maintain an active website and get frustrated when I cannot get it to look or act the way I want. I plan to start using some of the basic codes we learned to fix my test in quia. Quia is a web based testing program. I have at times wanted things bolded or italicized and did not know now to make that happen. Now I do!
As I played more with it, I realized you can search for just about any html code you need and just cut and paste it. I think that will make life much easier when coding. It also helps when trying to imbed items. It is nice to know how some of the internet works behind the scenes, but for now I will stick with a WYSIWYG for my website building needs.

  1. I love the searching part as well! Google is a life saver :) I am glad that you have found an active use for HTML already! Being able to bold and italicize will help focus your students on the important parts of the questions.
O...and no problem taking notes for you!!! You scratch my back, I scratch yours baby! :)

  2. Hi Andrea,
Your Blog is just fabulous. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your profile, as well as all your pages. You are obviously very proficient in the field of technology. This is something that by contrast, I lack. HTML seems like a pretty neat thing to me, but I think I'm sticking to software that will allow me to build a webpage without HTML.

Maybe we can stay in touch--even after this class--and you can give me some pointers so that I can improve my poor, pathetic Blog--at least, that's what it looks like to me when I compare it with yours.
